Kristin Yamane,

MS Mechanical Engineering (2021)

BS Mechanical Engineering (2020)

Received both a Masters and Bachelors degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Also obtained a Certificate in Innovation Design from the Jacobs Institute of Design in 2020.

In 2016, Kristin was awarded with the Cal Alumni Association's Leadership Award. In 2019, she was sponsored by the Semiconductor Research Corporation Undergraduate Research Program to conduct research with the UC Berkeley Embodied Dexterity Group.

In 2018, Kristin interned as a Systems Engineering Intern at Teledyne Controls, and currently continues to work as a research assistant in the Embodied Dexterity Group.

Currently resides in Thousand Oaks, CA.

Graphic Artist & Designer

Freelance

Hobbyist graphic artist with little formal education in art, but makes up for that with enthusiasm and a passion for graphic art and design!

Kristin held the position of Lead of Graphic Design for two years and Marketing Director for one year for the Disney Club at Berkeley. From 2014 to 2018, she was the sole proprietor and key designer of Melon Boba Tea Apparel.

She continues to work on art and design, and hopes to one day open an online store.
